Kelly Jeffrey Education provides evidence-based reading instruction to children and adults.  Research has shown that learning to read does not come naturally to some students.  Some students have difficulty learning to read with the standard reading instruction in the general school population and need individualized, explicit, and systematic instruction to build a strong reading foundation.

I use the Orton-Gillingham Structured Literacy approach in my literacy sessions.  Orton-Gillingham is considered the gold standard of literacy instruction.  My sessions are explicit, sequential, diagnostic, prescriptive, and multisensory.  The Science of Reading backs these approaches.

I offer private literacy sessions, group sessions, and online workshops.  Each session will have a defined skill/strategy where we will practice that skill using a multisensory approach.  I will set an objective for the session, and create a specialized practice to meet that objective.  Materials are included in each session.  Sessions will be fun, engaging, and just the right amount of challenge.
